“Chambre atypique, originale”
A quirky, original room that turned out great. The bathtub is super classy with a spa feature. The renovation used beautiful, tasteful materials. It sits nicely in the old town and is perfect for a romantic night.
The place is in a central spot. The adjacent parking is public but not very spacious since it’s right next to the historic center. When you enter the room, a strong damp smell hits you, likely from the jacuzzi and a lack of ventilation because there are no windows, so natural air circulation is impossible.
“Tante cose da rivedere”
Central location in old Taranto. The open‑plan ground‑floor room has no windows; as soon as you step in you’re hit by an unbearable damp smell. The owner told us to keep the AC on Dry mode, but that didn’t help. We “slept” with the door open! The glass door leads straight into the hallway with a torn curtain as the only privacy from outside. See the striking photos of moisture on the walls.
“fine for a night's stay”
The spot was good and the host handed us the keys, the room was clean. The bathroom is part of the room and felt a little damp.
The owner is incredibly kind and the room is comfortable. A truly relaxing weekend.
