This hotel is truly excellent – well thought out, tasteful, and pleasantly minimalist. Luxury can be that simple. Compared to many oversized, over‑stylish hotels, you can see how much good taste lies in simplicity. A real delight for anyone who loves architecture and design. I’ll definitely return.

The room was dirty, the bathroom was terrible and smelled awful, and the balcony was just a dirty concrete strip.

The room was very nice with a stunning view. Everything was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast was surprisingly good. We would come back.

“Un hôtel qui mérite le détour !”

I stumbled upon a gem in Kollnau and spent a fantastic time at ArtBau Designhotel. The place sits right near the train station and the town center, making it super easy to get around. The welcome was especially warm: the staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. My room was stunning, with a sleek contemporary design that was also very comfortable. Everything was spotless and the equipment was top quality. I also enjoyed two terraces, one overlooking the forest and the other the river. The breakfast deserves a shout‑out – it was truly excellent: full, generous, with good products and very pleasant service (and the lemon cake was as beautiful as it tasted!). I wholeheartedly recommend this address and will gladly return. The bedding (mattress and pillow) felt too soft for my taste.
