Penzion Racek

Finding a relatively new inn with a restaurant in this remote area was a pleasant surprise. The rooms were appropriately sized, modern, and well‑furnished with good beds. Its location right by a small lake is very quiet and lovely, and we felt very comfortable. The restaurant deserves special mention for its excellent cuisine and the staff’s friendliness and attentiveness. Breakfast is very good for local standards—no monster buffet, but everything you need and top quality.

“Velká spokojenost 😃”

The room’s air‑conditioning was definitely a plus 😃, and I used it; I didn’t have to turn it on because the staff forgot to turn off the music in the restaurant, which played all night. I would add insect nets to the windows so you can ventilate across the room, and I would consider a desk for the laptop when I sit on the sofa, which was missing.

The inn’s location is great, and sleep was good even though the pub under the windows was quiet after 10 p.m. The surrounding scenery is beautiful, the food at the restaurant is good, the accommodation is clean, and the staff are pleasant. The shower cubicle was very small and awkwardly designed, with a battery in the middle that keeps hitting you while showering. I also missed a table and chairs, or at least a kettle, because the inn doesn’t offer breakfast.

The property was clean and the view from the back is beautiful. There’s no coffee or tea in the room, the shower is too small, and getting a Bolt or Uber takes a while.
