I was drawn to the old, historic vibe of the building and found it cozy; the staff were super friendly and helpful, which I really appreciated. The location was unbeatable, just 5 minutes from Mad River and about 7 from Sugarbush. Because the building is older, you can hear everything, but that didn’t bother me after a long day of skiing—though a light sleeper might want to consider this.

I had a mixed experience at this lovely Inn. The location was fantastic and the Inn itself was stunning, but I was surprised by the less-than-ideal service. Overall, it was an okay stay, but I expected more attention to detail from the staff.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the very clean and cozy room, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. However, I did notice that the walls were quite thin, which meant I could easily hear the other guests, but it wasn't a major issue for me.
