The place is gorgeous – the décor is really something and the location feels like a hidden gem, close to everything yet surprisingly quiet. The only downside is the hot‑water supply; if you’re into long baths you’ll be disappointed because the tank just can’t keep up with a big tub.

Spotless, peaceful and nicely stocked, which made the stay pretty comfortable. The flip side is the lack of privacy up on the top floor – the bedroom and bathroom feel exposed, and you have to watch your step on the uneven floors and stairs.

I liked the original furniture, plenty of space and all the gear you could need, plus a huge, comfy bed. The balcony and back yard, though, felt a bit neglected – they don’t match the warm vibe of the interior.

The location is stunning, right where you want to be. Unfortunately the bed covers are paper‑thin; a heavier duvet would have made the nights cozier.

The house’s interior, with its antique touches, was a real highlight and being just two minutes from the lake was perfect. On the downside, the train whistle kept blowing at midnight and again around 12 :08, the fridge was noisy, the outdoor chairs and tables weren’t cleaned despite the nice weather, some rooms have uneven floor levels, and the shower curtain cuts the space, making the shower feel cramped.
