How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The location at the backwaters was amazing, but getting there was a nightmare - no signs led us to the resort and it was hard to find from the main road. On the plus side, we did enjoy accessing the private Shikara. However, we had some issues with the booking process - they wanted full payment upfront, which wasn't clear from the ads claiming free cancellation and payment on site.

The location is really beautiful and the rooms are okay, but it's clear this hotel is mainly for Indian families. Not a bad thing, just something to know if you're looking for a more international vibe.

The layout and location were really good, but the restaurant was a letdown. It seemed like they changed their hours randomly and we often found it closed when we wanted to eat. There was zero flexibility, which was pretty frustrating.

Surrounded by beauty and tranquility, this place was a peaceful getaway. However, we had some issues with the staff response time and the TV channels - no English channels on our first night. The bathroom walls also had some mold, which wasn't great.

The position of this hotel is perfect for watching the Backwaters and waking up to Kerala's natural beauty. The staff are welcoming and friendly, but the hotel could use some maintenance in a few areas. Still, the view is exceptional.
