The staff were wonderful, friendly and made me feel comfortable; the room was very spacious and comfortable. However, when I used the hair dryer and air conditioner at the same time, the breaker tripped and I had to change rooms; it would help if they noted how long before it trips.

Nothing positive. I couldn’t communicate, the room differed from the online booking, many rooms still looked like old love hotels and felt unpleasant, the TV was unusable, breakfast was prepared in a way that felt unhygienic to Japanese people, with expired seasonings, peeled tangerines, a broken microwave, and cold instant coffee in a teacup; no conversation happened no matter what I said, I wanted to cancel but had already paid, so I endured it. It was a disappointing hotel for sightseeing, I never want to go back. The first room shown was a dark Japanese‑style room with a broken TV, so I switched to a Western room, which matched the online description.

I think what’s good or bad depends on who’s staying. It’s probably clearer than other reviews. If you understand, the convenience feels great. The staff are non‑intrusive and give a good vibe. If the weather’s good, the stars are clean. Because the rating is low, there are probably few guests (maybe). Even on a holiday, I didn’t meet anyone. Others say the soundproofing is good, but maybe it’s quiet because no one is around. The added equipment (air conditioner, toilet, etc.) is nice. There was a kettle, hair dryer, and probably a humidifier. The room is spacious. There is a dedicated parking space, or you can park anywhere. If there are few guests, you might be able to change rooms after arrival. The number, size, and layout of beds differ. The entrance isn’t locked, so you can leave the room with the key (to smoke). Breakfast is apparently available, but I didn’t have time to try it. If there’s no final bill, you can return the key to the box and auto‑check‑out. It’s not a bargain, but it’s not a rip‑off either. The building has no sign (I arrived at night so maybe it was dark), I silently entered and checked the notice board. The whole area, not just the building, looked abandoned and creepy. Insects were expected. Even with full disinfection and an air curtain, it’s hard to keep them out. There is a bell, but if you ring it politely it might not notice; if you call, they come with a smile and no discomfort. The staff are not fluent in Japanese. If you speak to someone who understands a little Japanese, they probably get it. Ask directly and keep asking until you understand, and they’ll try hard to explain. Cleaning is thorough but there are some missed spots; small trash pieces in hard‑to‑see places, but dust is very low, not unclean. I think it’s a renovated abandoned love hotel, but some floors are dangerous; a layperson might not notice and step on something. They use too much deodorizer, which is odd. The objects are weird. I’m not sure if Japanese people are underestimating it or if I just like Japan’s weird side, but the expression is too unique, a strange feeling. It was dark so I couldn’t evaluate the view. The front desk displays cup noodles and drinks at room temperature—are they for sale? There’s a microwave at the entrance. If you arrive at night, the only vending machine nearby might be for soft drinks. I bought all food. There is a refrigerator in the room. I didn’t ask, but you might want to bring chargers. Amenities are standard. Towels seem hard, maybe the fabric softener is wrong. There are no slippers for the room. I didn’t use them, but there is a bathrobe (maybe yukata). The monitor probably shows no terrestrial channels. Some lights in the room were broken. Functionally, it’s fine. There probably isn’t a smoking area. You might want to bring your own ashtray if you smoke outside. **Final note:** I wouldn’t recommend it for business or first dates. I like it, though.
