The bungalow was spotless, with daily housekeeping and fresh towels, and the outdoor kitchen was fully stocked. We were surrounded by jungle and saw raccoons, skunks, monkeys—more wildlife than some parks. The power went out, the AC couldn't keep up and was noisy, and the beach was left dirty and untidy.

The lodge was beautiful and peaceful, just a short walk from Santa Teresa. The beach was wild, with local animals within 100 meters and even on the terrace at times. The outdoor kitchen was a real highlight.

The bungalow was comfortable and well decorated. We expected a beachfront spot, but it was tucked against the main road, about 100 meters from the beach, with buildings and jungle blocking the view. So it wasn't the beach bungalow we had in mind.

We liked the spot right by the beach a little outside town, and the cleaning staff were friendly. The beach itself was the best we've seen in Costa Rica. The apartments are tidy and have nice outdoor areas, but the studio units are noisy, dusty, and sit right on the main road—so we don't recommend them. Also, the property is unattended, so we had trouble getting in at night and the owners only sent a code via the app.
