“One of the Best stay.”
The place was incredibly quiet and felt exclusive, with large, spotless rooms and a breathtaking view. Unfortunately, there were smokers everywhere, even in the non‑smoking zones.
We had a fantastic stay, thanks in large part to Lily’s exceptional service. She went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly, arranging transport to the train station early in the morning and preparing takeaway breakfast bags before the restaurant opened. After check‑out I realized I’d left my jacket in the room; Lily arranged a local courier to deliver it to our next hotel in another city, sparing me a lot of hassle. She’s a real asset to the hotel, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
“If you’re in Dali, avoid this, there are many much better properties.”
Not much. It’s literally the worst “5 star” property I’ve ever stayed at. It’s shabby, not well kept, understaffed and while I was there, some lifts and internet didn’t work. Out of the 3, 1 restaurant was closed. Ordered steak for dinner, its was like a piece of rubber. While having breakfast, you’ve to get staffs attention or they won’t care - tables won’t have cutlery, or mats. It’s quite amazing just how bad this property is. I was booked for 4 days and I checked out first thing after first night
“Lovely location with a good view of lake erhai”
The lake view was beautiful and there were plenty of breakfast options. The staff were friendly and the room had many utilities. We forgot something at checkout, but the staff quickly let us know so we could retrieve it. The AC in our room didn’t work well; I reported it, a technician came, but the problem persisted.
“Époustouflant et reposant”
This exceptional spot tucked away in the mountains provides breathtaking scenery, and the hotel itself feels like a museum—a work of art that blends modern design with tradition. The breakfast, however, was very traditional with limited continental or international options.
