I rented a regular house room that had a TV, futon, desk, and wardrobe; because a family lived there, I felt uneasy using the kitchen or bathroom, so I couldn’t relax; the entrance lock was managed by the owner, making it inconvenient to enter or exit freely; the place wasn’t listed on 3 Home or marked at the entrance, so I had to search for it, and confirming the address was necessary.

The host went above and beyond by handling my luggage, doing laundry, and letting me use the amenities in their home, which turned out better than I expected. I’m not saying it was bad, but because there were small children around, I felt bad about the noise I made at night—something that’s different from a regular hotel. That’s the nature of a private stay, after all!

The family-run operation was very friendly and helpful. The location was hard to find and didn’t show up on the taxi navigation.
