The hotel was beautiful, the staff very pleasant, the breakfast varied and excellent, their own beer and food at the pub were also great, the location was good – a few minutes from the highway exit and 5 minutes by car to Attersee, there was a nice bakery within walking distance (not needed after breakfast but handy for a snack) and a supermarket a little further; although our windows faced a lit square, the exterior blinds let us darken the room well, and even though the hotel is on a road, it’s not so busy that you can’t sleep with the window open; the hotel had plenty of parking (I added a photo from the second parking lot across the street), so even with many guests we always parked without trouble even in the evening after returning from a trip; the outdoor pool sounded great, but unfortunately we didn’t find time to use it. The only subjective small issue that could be improved, in my view, were the pillows – they were not entirely comfortable.

The front desk staff were super friendly, and my room was spotless, roomy, and had a modern vibe. The restaurant served great traditional dishes, and the breakfast spread was impressive—lots of options, crispy pastries, fresh fruit and veggies. The pool area looked amazing with sleek loungers. Overall, a solid stay with a few minor quirks.

Stayed in the new rooms at the annex—nice and clean. The sauna house and pool were a real treat for unwinding, and the main building’s kitchen had tasty food. The sauna isn’t included, so you’ll need to pay extra, and the breakfast buffet was decent but nothing special.

We were housed in the residence, and it was a one‑time experience that left a good impression.
