“Ant invasion!”
The pool was decent and getting to the mountain Ijen was a walk away. The staff, however, seemed to be sleeping outside the room, didn’t speak English, and there were ants everywhere.

The garden and pool area were beautifully designed. The room was functional with a lovely view. The location was very secluded, food was only available via Grab and that was difficult. It would have been nice to have a lounge chair by the pool or a table where you could comfortably sit and eat.

The bed was large and comfortable, and the terrace offered a view of nature. We didn’t use the pool because it wasn’t hot. The shower was impossible to regulate the flow or heat. The staff didn’t speak any English, so it was almost impossible to ask them anything. The location was poorly chosen; Grab wouldn’t pick us up, and when the guest requested it, we had to find a translator. We almost missed the ferry to Bali.

It’s truly a gem! We enjoyed staying at Aureirin. The room is comfortable and fully equipped; the balcony is nice and the pool is a real luxury that’s welcome after a day of travel. Even though you can’t eat out, the staff helps order food. Communication is excellent—responses are always quick. The only downside is that there are a lot of mosques nearby, so you need to be a light sleeper.

It was nice and quiet, cozy, and the pool was good. The property was well kept with a nice garden area. The room was fine. Breakfast was good. Nothing really stood out as a negative, though it could feel a bit too cozy with so many guests around.
