The room was spacious with windows on two sides, though some street noise seeped in; the terrace on the floor above was nice. The room sat 3.5 floors up with narrow stairs, a good exercise for hill towns, and the pillow was on the thick side.

The hostess was wonderful, the room was roomy, and the terrace was clean and beautiful with views; the flights of stairs to the attic were expected, but an electric chair lift was available for those with mobility issues, and they helped with the luggage up.

The rooms were quaint; we had two rooms, including an upstairs apartment that required quite a few stairs, but it was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is not to be missed; the only downside was the stairs to the apartment.
