The resort sits on the edge of town, halfway between Hada and Shafa; it features a superb Italian restaurant and a lovely garden ideal for evening gatherings; the villa is very spacious and the reception staff are extremely helpful. Some furniture needs updating and the door maintenance could be better.

There are no rooms on the ground floor at all—just a lounge and a kitchen, and anyone with a large family will feel cramped; the furniture looks old, and if you want new pieces they’ll charge you extra, even though every villa is the same size.

The reception was impeccable, with Fahd Al-Harithi and Mohammed Al-Sharif handling everything with great manners and professionalism, and they upgraded my booking to a villa with a pool, for which I paid the difference. The pool isn’t deep, but it’s suitable for kids, and the chalet is perfect for families. I booked a 3‑bedroom villa with a basement master bedroom and a pool on the first floor, plus an outdoor lounge, a large lounge, a kitchen, a bathroom, a balcony, and three bedrooms. The tea room was very clean and spacious, making the stay comfortable, and overall the resort was fantastic. There’s a restaurant, a café, a grocery shop, a gym, and games for small children, plus outdoor play areas for older kids. This is my second time booking here, and if I return to Taif, I’ll definitely book again. The only wish is for the quality to remain consistent.
