I stayed in a room with a fantastic view and the staff were very friendly. There was nothing else to note.

The staff were friendly and I could pay by card. The Wi‑Fi was great and the location is excellent, just remember how remote it is.

The location is good for hiking in the canyon. The staff tried, but the boss ignored us as guests.

“Sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam!”

We started our stay at Hotel Kanione with a very friendly reception. Our luggage was brought to the room, the front desk explained everything about the hotel and pointed out that we could get information about sights, excursions, bathing spots anytime. We did that and all our questions were answered. Our room was large, very clean and well equipped. The furnishings are not new but very well maintained. We visited several hotels in Albania on our tour and none were as thoughtfully arranged. There was enough space for clothes, a large mirror, plenty of hooks for towels, shampoo, shower gel, a toiletries set, space for shoes… From the balcony we had a very nice view of the canyon, it was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was more than sufficient, fresh and tasty. Freshly baked rolls were super tasty. We didn’t manage to finish them all; they packed the rest for us on the way ♥️ The food in the restaurant is very good, in the evenings it is very well attended by locals. Tables are reserved for hotel guests ☺️ The hotel looks like an unassuming building at first glance, with a well‑kept garden but the friendliness of the staff makes it special. Unfortunately we left our daughter’s old but beloved cappy in the room; it wasn’t until almost two weeks later that we remembered it might be at Hotel Kanione. When we asked, it was indeed there! The last stop of our trip was Tirana; the request to send the cappy to Tirana was confirmed and even better!!! It was sent to Tirana in time before our departure. Because our daughter could happily wear her cappy again, the wonderful people at Hotel Kanione deserve a huge thank you. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.
