A nice little pension with an older vibe. The room was big enough. Breakfast was good and served in the building next to the hotel. About a 5‑minute walk to the tram stop into town. The trip to the city takes about 20 minutes.

Parking was free and the complimentary breakfast was solid, plus the front desk and breakfast staff were very pleasant. The hotel is a long walk from the city center, then a 20‑minute tram ride to get back; it’s a bit out of the way. I spotted a tiny cockroach as soon as I entered my room, and there’s no air‑conditioning so you have to leave the window open for airflow (bugs included). There is a fan and a small mini‑fridge.

Getting here by car is a breeze and there’s plenty of parking. Check‑in and check‑out were quick, and the breakfast spread was impressive with a wide range of foods and drinks, even fresh strawberry‑banana milk. I always stay here when I’m in Graz for work, and the value is great. The only gripe is the way to the room isn’t well marked, and an electric‑charging station would be a nice addition.

The staff were excellent, but there was no air‑conditioning and the room was small. I came to meet a woman I’d met online, and she turned out to be arrogant, unapproachable and dishonest.
