“Great stay, lovely staff, nice decor, just needs some veggie sausage for breakfast 😊”
The décor felt fresh and modern, and the staff were genuinely friendly. The young man and lady who welcomed us and escorted us to our room were very nice, and Will at the restaurant had a cheeky smile, was confident, and received a few compliments from other guests. The food in the restaurant was lovely, and the room itself was very nice. However, the bathroom lacks a couple of hooks, a shelf or a place to store toiletries, and a toilet roll holder. Also, there was no vegetarian sausage offered at breakfast.

The food was really good, the staff were really nice and helpful, and overall the experience was good. The first night the room had no TV, but a TV was installed the next morning. There was no tea or coffee in the bedroom, which was disappointing, though a coffee machine on the landing was available to all rooms; it didn’t work well and there were never enough cups. The room was overpriced.

The hotel was clean, in an excellent location for the venue we chose, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. The grounds around the hotel could use some attention; it would have been nice to sit outside while it was boiling hot.

The property was incredibly clean, comfortable, and individual, not corporate. The staff were incredibly helpful, all clearly invested in making your stay good. We didn’t have dinner there, so I can’t comment on that, but breakfast, especially the vegetarian option, seemed to match the same level of quality and detail. Nothing was too much trouble. When an unexpected plumbing issue arose, they were there in two or three minutes and handled it with friendly professionalism. I can’t wait to come back as soon as possible. The only thing I might add is that having yogurt and fruit with toast and cereal as an alternative to a cooked breakfast would have suited me, but that’s just my preference.
