Arriving, feeling at home, and not wanting to leave! ❤️ Our short holiday at the Lake Hotel Zur Münz in Meersburg was simply wonderful! From check‑in we were greeted exceptionally friendly. As a special surprise we even received an upgrade for our two booked rooms. When we entered the rooms we were immediately delighted! Directly on Lake Constance, only separated from the water by the promenade – and that view! Absolutely gorgeous! 😍 We immediately regretted booking only two nights. The rooms were spotlessly clean and fully equipped. We especially liked the capsule coffee machine in each room. The shower bath is small, but everything needed is there. One moment that touched us deeply: my 81‑year‑old mother actually cried when she entered her own room. I think that says more than any detailed description. ❤️ We did not find it a problem that the hotel does not offer breakfast. Right outside the door there are plenty of options. We had breakfast at the small Café Reite on both mornings and were very satisfied. It was really tasty! A small additional luxury would have been a fridge directly in the room. However, there is a large communal fridge on the hallway where you can cool your own items. The arrival was uncomplicated. For a short unloading you can stop briefly near the hotel. Afterwards we parked our car a few minutes away in the parking garage for a cheap 12,50 € per day instead of paying 30 €. Our conclusion: a fully successful October short holiday in Meersburg, where everything simply fit. The dreamy location, the beautiful rooms and especially the warm welcome made our stay something very special. A heartfelt thank you to the Lake Hotel Zur Münz! We felt at home from the first moment and will gladly come back. 🥰
