“Didn’t stay”
I felt the place was too precious for my taste, and that was the only downside.

The host’s communication was very warm, and her homemade breakfast was wonderful. The accommodation sits in a lovely setting yet is still within walking distance of the city centre. All in all, highly recommend it.

We were greeted like royalty and every effort was made to make us comfortable, but some of the accessibility features didn’t suit our needs; the stairs were hard to navigate both into the house and into the room.

The location is great, just a short walk to Port Hope’s main street. Breakfast was tasty and beautifully arranged. The room was clean, attractive, and very well equipped. I didn’t find anything I disliked, though the bed pillows felt a bit large for me; I’m sure an alternative would have been offered if I had asked. Rose, the host, was very accommodating.

A beautiful, quiet spot with excellent breakfasts, and the bed and linens were superb. Rose was an amazing host.
