The breakfast was the best I’ve had in fifteen years across numerous B & B’s; the hosts were wonderful, even inviting us to a quartet concert that evening, which was fantastic. I had to iron a shirt that morning and the host left an ironing board and iron at our door while I finished breakfast. The bathroom was modern, with water that hit hot instantly and great pressure.

An extraordinary breakfast buffet filled with many small, homemade treats made from high‑quality ingredients and presented beautifully. The room was lovingly furnished with everything you need. We were pleasantly surprised on our birthday morning when the hosts invited us to a personal birthday serenade in the house’s concert‑vault cellar—an exceptionally resonant experience that gave us goosebumps! We felt comfortable and appreciated all around and will gladly return. Everything was fine.

We were greeted warmly and checked in without any trouble; a key code would have worked even if the owners were absent. The breakfast buffet for two—since we were the only guests—was outstanding; nothing was missing! The owners are very friendly and shared some history of the house, which also has a concert vault cellar. A gem! Proximity to the A5 is a bonus for travelers.

Very welcoming reception. The breakfast was excellent, the bed comfortable, and the city of Freiburg is about a 15‑minute drive away. We liked it. The accommodation sits directly on a heavily trafficked street; later at night it quietened down and we could sleep with the window open.
