“Overall great, we were very happy there for 12 nights, but please open the pool!”
The hotel was outstanding overall – the room was lovely with a great view, the staff were incredibly gracious and helpful, and the breakfast spread was excellent. It's such a pity their swimming pool was closed. Why?! Also, right below our room was a massive air‑con condenser unit with the noisiest air‑con fans I've ever heard. The windows are double (or triple?) glazed so it's quiet inside the room, but out on the balcony it was laughable – like standing above a jet airliner.
