“Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt in Oberstdorf”

A charming little hotel right in the heart of Oberstdorf, and I felt right at home. The room was very well equipped, almost brand‑new, and everything was impeccably maintained. The hearty breakfast left no room for complaints. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. When I return to Oberstdorf next time, I’ll book again at Gasthaus Maxheim.

The host was friendly. There is a car parking spot right next to the building – unfortunately it costs extra. The room was adequately furnished and clean. Breakfast was fine.

“Fijne schone en ruime kamer op een goede locatie.”

The location is perfect. It’s in the centre but still peaceful. A nice seat with a view of the room. The breakfast was good. Nothing else to mention.

“Średniej klasy pensjonat z kiepskim śniadaniem.”

The room was large and separated from other guests. Even though the room’s equipment seemed high‑quality, the room itself needed a refresh and some repairs. In our room the skirting board was missing, the wardrobe handle was broken, and the child’s travel crib was damaged, so we ultimately didn’t use it. We were not informed in advance about the daily fee for using the pension’s parking. We were also charged a higher climate fee than the one listed by booking. The water jug in the dining room was dirty, the tomatoes were partially mouldy, and throughout our stay the same cheeses and cold cuts were served, which on the last day were not very fresh.
