We booked a two‑night stay and ended up without accommodation, having to sleep in our car. I’m disabled and we had a child with us. When we arrived, the lady told us Booking had changed our room, but after calling it turned out that was not true.

The area around Szklarska Poręba is nice, but the property itself is in a terrible state. We expected low comfort because the room price was cheap, yet we encountered a disaster: foul smells, dirt, three mismatched floor panels in the room, cigarette odor, a bathroom so tiny an overweight person would struggle, a microscopic sink, a broken shower glass replaced by a torn curtain, constant sewage smell, spider webs on every window, curtains from another era, and a breakfast not worth mentioning. The place is under renovation, hot water is problematic, and the whole hotel should be closed.

The overall condition is extremely degraded, beyond mere lack of cleanliness. The property is currently unsafe and poses a direct health risk. Key points: epidemiological hazard – the kitchen and appliances (including microwaves) are in a state that could cause mass food poisoning. Long‑standing organic deposits are a bacterial fire. No sanitary standards – toilets and showers are neglected (biofilm, mold, urine deposits) risking skin infections and fungal infections. Structural and biological destruction – advanced mold near windows and wall stains show leaks and a toxic microclimate (respiratory disease risk). Critical lack of utilities – no hot water and insufficient indoor temperature (cooling) prevent proper disinfection and severely lower occupants’ immunity. Property degradation – complete technical wear of floors and blocked waste channels indicate years of administrative neglect. Conclusion: The place needs immediate shutdown, thorough decontamination, and full renovation of installations. Lack of heating, hot water, and pervasive mold make it a toxic environment. The location is charming, peaceful, quiet, and the neon on the façade is creative 😁. Comfort is minimal; heating and hot water only came after an intervention at 20:00. The building needs renovation but I understand the tough times. Wi‑Fi is supposedly available but we never got the code. The staff were unobtrusive.
