“Good location and nicely decorated rooms but the noise was horrendous and couldn’t sleep, such a shame”

The location is good, but the noise from the fans next door and the faucet that wouldn’t hold water were annoying. There were no drawers or shelves to put clothes in or on.

The room was clean, welcoming and very well maintained. The location is quiet. The staff were extremely kind, even bringing our luggage up to the second floor. I appreciated the kettle in the room and the welcome sweet. For breakfast, there are many bars in the area.

“Lovely Spacious townhouse in Edinburgh.”

Booked this for my mum and dad. They loved it. Help on hand to carry luggage. Easy to get in. Good location for playhouse. Then they were going to airport in the morning. Said the room was lovely. 4pm check in seems a little late in the day

“Muito boa localização”

The location is great – everything is within walking distance. The room, bathroom and bed are spacious, and the shower is excellent. The décor is nice, but I expected a bit more for the price I paid. Only tea, coffee and two biscuits were offered; there were no other amenities such as lotion, shower cap or earplugs, which I had received at other, simpler hotels in Scotland. My room was at the back of the hotel and a little noisy, like a big air‑conditioning unit from a company.

“An exceptional stay with a wonderful location, spotless rooms, and truly outstanding hospitality!”

We loved everything about our stay! The room was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed. The location is fantastic – close to all the major sightseeing, with plenty of great cafes, restaurants, and pubs right nearby, so we could easily walk everywhere without needing public transport. The biggest highlight was the host, who did everything possible to accommodate our early check-in request with no extra charge. Also, a special thanks to the concierge, who kindly helped us carry our luggage up to the second floor. Everything was perfect
