“Great stay in Giza – Excellent tours and flexible services!”

I had a great stay at this guest house in Giza! Amir, the owner, was extremely helpful in organizing my stay and very flexible when it came to adapting to my schedule and requests. Very good location. When I arrived in Egypt, I experienced an unexpected visa issue that delayed me at the airport for almost two hours. Amir patiently waited for me and made sure my transfer to the guest house went smoothly. As a knowledgeable Egyptologist, he also offers excellent guided tours. His explanations at the Grand Egyptian Museum helped me focus on the most interesting and significant exhibits without feeling overwhelmed by the size of the museum. The tour of the Pyramids was equally informative, with plenty of fascinating historical insights. He is also very helpful when it comes to arranging transportation, even at unusual hours, and offers useful advice to make the most of your time in Giza. What I particularly appreciated was the flexibility of the services, the ability to adapt activities to my interests and schedule, and the convenience of having tours and transfers organized directly through the guest house. A very convenient place to stay when exploring Giza, especially if you want well-organized visits and interesting historical explanations!

The place is not clean. An employee a man sold us a tour that was completely unfairly priced, and he sent us to a perfume shop where we were scammed. I think that says enough about what happened—not to mention that he lied to us about everything

Nothing at all. The place isn't fit even for animals; there is filth everywhere—from the entrance (which is actually a residential building) to the elevator and the room. As for the employee named "Bassem," he is a total con artist; everything he says is a lie, and he charged me more than the actual price of the room

Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit Im 10Stockwerk war die Ausicht sehr gut. Das Bad war alt und richtig verschmutzt Das Frühstück eine Katastrophe keinen Kaffee Ohne Messer und Gabel,keine Handtücher Der Aufzug war nicht gesichert durch eine Tür

“Decent Hostel - Ran by a scammer (avoid if your not confident in saying no)”

The location is good, across the road from the grand museum. Only a 15 min drive to the pryamids. View from the room is lovely. Beds are comfy and the shower is good. The owner Amir. I have been to over 20 hostels and ive never seen such unprofessional behavior. He is a very good talker and will try his hardest to con extra money out of you. I checked in after midnight, he tried to say I have missed a day of my reservation even though I informed him multiple times of my arrival time. My room wasnt ready on day 1, even though he had an extra 7 hours to arrange it. He claimed it was becuase of over booking but the whole time i was there i didnt see a single other guest. I was put into a lesser room than I had booked, with dirty sheets. He then asked me to cancel the reservation. I read the policy and that would result in my card being charged anyway, so would have ended up paying double. The next day when i was swapped rooms, I had to just leave all my luggage in the hall way as i left at 8am and my new room wouldnt be ready until 12pm. Nothing was missing, but still an uncomfortable scenario. Just be wary, if you are unsure or a bit naive he will take advantage. And after all that, he told me the thing that matters most to him isnt money, it is his reputation. 😂
