Baoying Jinling Hotel

“Plenty of space, excellent rest and fantastic location”

The room was huge, very comfortable, and impeccably clean. The staff were very accommodating when I tried to change my booking last minute. The restaurant offered many breakfast options. It was very quiet, letting me rest well and reset each day. The hotel sits next to a busy street with plenty of restaurants. It was an excellent stay. I didn’t see a gym or spa, even though I wanted to work out, so that’s a small disappointment. Also the doors don’t shut themselves behind you; I kept forgetting to close them fully, and a little alarm would remind me that they were not 100 % shut, which was a bit annoying.

The place is luxurious. The staff speak poor English at the reception.

While the hotel's lobby made a great first impression, my experience was unfortunately tainted by a bout of food poisoning from the breakfast buffet's ice cubes, which my colleagues avoided by sticking to hot beverages.

Unfortunately, my stay was marked by a disappointing encounter with the hotel staff, which failed to meet my expectations.
