I liked the cozy vibe of the hotel; it feels dated, but I prefer that over modern places. Our room was nice, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and the grounds were lovely. The breakfast was too early—7 am to 9 am—which is fine on a weekday but not ideal for a holiday weekend.

The breakfast was outstanding, we loved every bite—hot and well cooked, with a nicely arranged dining room and table. Our waitress was helpful and friendly. Everything else was flawless.

Only stay here if you’re attending a wedding there. The staff were rude, except for the lady who worked Sunday evening and the lady at breakfast on Monday morning.

It was convenient because it was close to where we stayed the next day. I was disappointed that they didn’t tell me there was a wedding when I booked, even though they had my details. A courtesy call asking if I was part of the wedding would have helped; I never knew it was a wedding venue at booking.

The location is easy to find, the car park is spacious, and the staff are friendly. I couldn’t shower because the water pressure was lacking 😒
