The place is serene, yet it’s far from the Aplaya and the path to the sea is hard to find. There are stray dogs when you walk to the highway to buy supplies.

The owner and family are very kind and friendly, and they are very hands‑on with guests’ needs, but the tent needs to provide even a small pan inside.

The owner was quick to respond, and the huts themselves were fine. The kitchen and basic necessities were adequate, and the area stayed quiet. The property is compact enough that a large group could almost book the whole place. The photos made it seem beachside, but the walk to the beach is long, which is misleading. When we got there, other guests were already in the rooms we had booked, indicating a booking mix‑up. Worse, the attendant wasn’t present, so we had to wait a long time to settle in. The resort was underwhelming, very different from what the website promised, so we ended up booking a nearby beach‑side hotel instead.

The staff are very friendly—that’s the only good thing about this place. The tent, shower, and facilities are a joke; the pictures don’t match reality. They’re taken from one angle, and from the other it looks like a warzone. The tent is old, small, not waterproof, with a thin mattress. The shower is awful—you step outside in flip‑flops and your feet are dirty again. 600 php for this? There isn’t much to do in Binotuclan, though the beach is nice.
