“Great place to stay”
Everything was perfect—nothing to dislike, a super place to stay with great breakfast. Marianne is such a good host and a very talented author too.

The host offered warm hospitality, the historic inn was beautiful, quiet and peaceful, and the breakfast was delicious.

Everyone staying that weekend left before breakfast for a graduation in Oxford, so I looked in the dining room and no one was there; I didn’t know if we could take something from the little fridge, and there was little or no communication from the staff. Many families were heading to the graduation, so it would’ve been nice if they could have had breakfast a little earlier for us since everyone missed it. After the check‑in information that was sent to us before arrival, there was no communication from the staff about anything except when we texted that we would be leaving early for the college graduation—just an acknowledgment.

The house workers were great, but there were cats and trouble with the gate.

Check‑in was easy, the room was clean and lovely with a comfortable bed, and I would stay again if ever in the area.
