“Leider enttäuschend”

A beautiful, well‑maintained property with many seating areas. Close to the lake and you can walk along the lake into the town. The reception was already very cold: name? brief briefing, payment. The optional breakfast was never offered. It felt somewhat annoying. The room was very Spartan and uncomfortable. No coat rack. Also few storage options. In the bathroom nothing at all. Where to put cream, deodorant, etc? The double bed did not deserve the name, so narrow! No lamp at the bed, only the ceiling light. The last had to stumble into bed in the dark. Don't forget the trip hazard right when you step in.

“Super!”

The hosts were really super helpful, they picked me up from the station, took me back to the station, and my daughter to the camp! Incredible people with values, so few these days in the world. Everything was as described in the listing. I only missed a sharp knife to cut a tomato and a small induction stove for a single pan, to cook eggs or sausages in the morning – but I knew that wasn't available, so I just write it as a tip for the hosts. The garden is beautiful, the lake is right next to it, you can walk everywhere, there's also a bus stop. So many places to walk, wow!

The garden was beautifully maintained, with a grill, fire pit, tennis table, ping‑pong table, and playground, making it easy to spend time there; it’s also close to the lake and the town centre. I was disappointed that the hotel charged for firewood, that there was no kitchen access, and that the only appliances in the room were a kettle and a fridge. The communal kitchen exists but is locked and you must ask for access, which feels inadequate. The room’s furnishings were old, the beds were torn and barely sleepable, and I think the price was too high for that standard. Still, the area is wonderful. Cheers.

The location is very picturesque, just a minute’s walk from the lake. The staff were very friendly, the grill on the premises was great, and I highly recommend it. Anita was especially nice.
