“Enttäuschend”

The only reason I accepted this accommodation despite the rating was its proximity to the Daimler Customer Campus Mannheim. Unfortunately, I was overall disappointed with the place. The outdoor area looked untidy, with large piles of rubbish behind an old fence – not a welcoming first impression. I booked the accommodation partly because it advertised a kitchenette, but there was no equipment at all: no pots, plates, cutlery, no kettle, and not even basic utensils. Simple items like coat hooks were completely missing. Other negative points: only one roll of toilet paper was provided; the heating stayed cold; many TV channels didn’t work; there was no information about the Wi‑Fi, so I had to ask. The bed was right next to the cold heater and under a window that wasn’t fully sealed, so a constant draft was felt. When something fell between the bed and the heater, I found unsightly stains that I didn’t want to investigate further. The accommodation did not meet my expectations. The room looks much larger in the photos than it actually is. Also, it should be fairly mentioned in the description that there are no kitchen utensils, no coat hooks, and not even an extra roll of toilet paper. It is also quite difficult to reach someone to get the invoice for the already paid service.

I was thoroughly impressed with the hotel's serene atmosphere and spotless cleanliness. The room was immaculately maintained, and I felt completely at ease during my stay. While it's not a major issue, I did notice that the hotel's amenities were somewhat limited. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway.
