Daniele was incredibly kind and sent me detailed directions from the train station—especially useful since the funicular was closed for maintenance—and great tips for things to do in Orvieto. Staying in the “yellow room” gave me a private bathroom down the corridor, which was fine and clearly mentioned when I booked. The place felt cozy and peaceful after a hectic day of sightseeing, and the communal indoor kitchen (big fridge, cooker, coffee machines, washing machine) plus the outdoor kitchen on the sun terrace were fantastic extras that weren’t obvious from the listing. Nothing to complain about.
