I was really looking forward to relaxing by the pool, but unfortunately, I didn't get the room I booked - a poolside one. Despite that, the hotel was quiet and clean, which was a big plus. It's a shame they didn't deliver on the poolside room, but overall, it was a pleasant stay.
We had a nice room and a comfortable bed, and the surroundings were beautiful. However, the food was a letdown - the portions were small, and it was often cold. We also had to wait a long time for our meals. Despite the issues, the room and surroundings made up for it to some extent.
The ATV ride was included in the price, and the surrounding area was lovely, even if the view from our room wasn't that great. However, getting here was a bumpy ride, and the internet was terrible - we only got 2 hours of Wi-Fi with a voucher. The bathroom was dirty, the bed sheets were tiny, and there was a bad smell in the bathroom that even closed doors couldn't block.
“Needs work, has potential”
The view from this place was stunning, and the staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating. However, getting here was a nightmare - you need to book a ride through the hotel's recommended service, and the roads are pretty rough. The cabin rooms are tiny, and we had to push the twin beds together just to fit, but that meant we couldn't open the doors fully. To top it off, we found a nail on the bathroom floor and rat feces in the room.
The breakfast here was really great, especially the fish. The view was also fantastic, with a refreshing breeze. However, the old air conditioning units were still in use, and they were way too loud. What's more, guests have to pay 200 pesos to use the swimming pool. It's a shame they haven't upgraded the AC yet.
