Make sure you do a full audit on all your balcony doors . if you have children . be aware of the slight upturn of a door handle . I was stuck outside for 45 mins before I was able to get back into my room . The balcony door locked behind me - as I was outside! I had to wait for someone to come out of the hotel doors and yell for help !! 45 mins in the glaring sun . wasn’t ideal . I would hate for it to have happened to a young child … situation could of ended up differently The lady whom came to my rescue went to reception and told them I was locked out of my hotel room … the receptionist there - then gave her access to my room ( assumed that I knew the lady) even though the lady had told the receptionist exactly what had happened Receptionist asked her to go Into my own private space . and unlock the door from the inside ., instead of getting a staff member to enter my room and assist with the situation

The modern hotel in the center of Gythio had well‑decorated rooms that were spotless, and breakfast was very good; unfortunately I stayed on the first floor, so the view was non‑existent, and I’m not sure if it changes on higher floors.

The room was very spacious, and the dining area was pleasant with a wide variety of tasty food. Every interaction with the hotel staff was enjoyable, warm, and they tried hard to meet our needs. The massage I received on the last day of our stay was a perfect finish and highly recommended. The bathroom and shower areas are very stylish, perhaps a bit too much, and there isn’t enough room to store items comfortably. Also, the glass doors do not provide sufficient privacy from the bedroom.

The location was central, and the breakfast was good and varied. The design of the room, bathroom, and toilets was small and uncomfortable.
