There’s a washing machine and a private shower, but the water pump is very loud; showering at night can wake neighbors.

I recommend it 100 %; it’s right under the “Golden Gates” metro station, the location is superb, right in the city center, and the room matches the photos exactly.

The place was clean and cozy, with a great location right next to many cafés, coffee shops, and small mini‑markets. A bonus was the metro station immediately outside the entrance, letting me quickly reach any part of Kyiv. It felt even calmer knowing I could descend into the bomb shelter within 2 minutes if danger arose.

The location was perfect, with the metro‑shelter right below. During my stay in Kyiv there was an attack; we went down to the metro and heard no explosions—exactly what I needed! The room had some quirks already mentioned elsewhere: doors that let light from the corridor show at night and a lack of sound insulation, but that wasn’t critical for us. The only drawback was a slightly broken bed on one side that my partner had to fix, making it uncomfortable to sleep on that side. Some people complained about a loud pump, but it wasn’t that loud. Overall, everything was good. The location and setting were top.
