“Resort on the Nile”
The breakfast spread was good, and sailing on the felucca straight from the hotel was a big plus. The rooms were small, especially the bathrooms.

The place was quiet and close to the locals, with loungers right in the pool, and the breakfast was hearty, though I had to walk around a lot to set up my own tray toward the end of my stay, and there was no French‑speaking guide for the transfer. I also wished the welcome and the transfer route were smoother, on a paved road and quicker.

I loved the view of the Nile, the breakfast was good, and if you’re after peace you can use the free spa pool. The downside was that sometimes the service dragged on for an hour just to get a glass of fruit juice, and the rooms were a bit small.

Overall it was fine, and the fact that it sits right in front of the Nile gives it a unique feel. The food and service left something to be desired.
