The room and bathroom were both spotless, and I didn’t catch any unpleasant odors at all.
We landed on a Wednesday and were greeted with apple juice even though it was a day off.
We had dinner once and it was delicious.
The bed was uncomfortable.

The hotel is in a beautiful, cosy town where everyone greets each other on the street and the vibe feels like we’re all good friends. The place itself had no complaints—everything worked fine and there was nothing to add, but it wasn’t a “wow” experience. As a stop along the way, I wholeheartedly recommend this little hotel 😊
“Family‑style food, but room for improvement”
The place feels like a family home – Toni keeps cooking pasta, pizza and schnitzel from noon until late, and always has good local tips. The rooms are roomy, especially the ones at the back that stay quiet, and fresh towels, sheets and toilet paper are ready on request. But the street‑side rooms can get noisy at night, and there’s no Wi‑Fi in the rooms, only in the beer garden.
“Good food, friendly staff, but towel shortage”
We had dinner once and it was delicious. The room was well equipped with a hair dryer and kettle, and the staff were very friendly. After we checked in, we were offered apple juice. The only downside was that, as a couple, we only got one bath towel – we managed to get another without a problem, but there was no soap dispenser.
The pension is in a very quiet spot, the staff is very friendly and quick to respond to requests, and everything is very clean.
“Welcoming but missing a few basics”
We landed on a Wednesday and were greeted with apple juice even though it was a day off. The room was spotless and the bed was huge, and the bathroom had a kettle and hair dryer. The only hiccup was that we booked for two but only one bath towel was in the room – we got another quickly. There was no soap dispenser and no extra toilet paper.
