Three attempts to pay failed with error messages each time; I called the B&B directly and the gentleman on the line said everything was fully booked and he hadn’t received any payment from Booking. In a rush we booked elsewhere for the night, and to our surprise that booking actually worked. When I called back the B&B, they were still full, had no reservation for us, and we lost our money!

The breakfast was excellent in a lovely room, and the hosts were very friendly.

The location was good and the host helped me wash my muddy dog with kindness. The food was pricey and bland, with no alcohol or cheese at dinner, a limited breakfast selection lacking cereals, uncomfortable pillows, and a messy dining area.
