We felt completely comfortable from start to finish. The entire team was incredibly attentive and warm – we were greeted warmly and asked if we needed anything. This hospitality truly made our stay special. The sea is right outside the door, everything was clean and well maintained. We felt welcomed, like guests at friends’ homes. Even after we left, the team personally reached out to check if we had a safe journey home – that’s not standard. A heartfelt thank you to the whole team – we can recommend this hotel with confidence and will gladly return! The only downside was how quickly the time flew by.
We had a wonderful stay! For two guests, the room was incredibly spacious and honestly much larger than we expected for the price: two separate rooms, two balconies, and a bathroom that was cleaned spotless every single day. A special shoutout to Alexey, Yannis, and Manuela. They were all so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. Their hospitality really made our stay even more enjoyable. There’s also a small restaurant on the property with excellent food and cocktails. Breakfast isn’t huge in terms of variety, but everything we tried was tasty and fresh. The pool is lovely and perfect for relaxing on a hot day, although we personally preferred heading to the nearby beaches, which are only about a 5-minute walk away. We’d definitely recommend renting a car as well. It makes it much easier to explore the surrounding area, visit the nearest city for some shopping, and discover more of Crete’s history. If we ever come back to Crete, we would absolutely stay here again!
The neighborhood is fairly poor, the beach isn’t well maintained, and there’s a cluster of rundown buildings (though that’s typical for this part of Crete). There’s no direct beach front; the nearest spot is right behind a traffic road.
“Relaxing and amazing. Incredible food and drinks”
Food, food, food, food – ahahah, the room was amazing, the swimming pool was great, everything was wonderful. For people worried about power outages, this is not an issue; if it happens it’s due to bad weather, which affects the whole area and has nothing to do with the hotel. We experienced a brief outage on the first night because of heavy rain, but it didn’t affect us at all and was unrelated to the owners. The same applies to all other hotels. We had half board included. The food was great, there was a wide selection, and almost every day there was something off the menu. Very few dishes were not included, but it was cheap enough that you could pay a small extra if you wanted. We honestly didn’t feel the need because the included options were already plenty and very good. The room was spacious and comfortable; we stayed in a junior suite. We loved the bathrobes. Cocktails at the bar were great! We spent a lovely, relaxing 10 days and will return.
The hotel is clean and newer, rooms come with balconies, there's a pool and plenty of loungers, and it's close to an aquarium and a beach with a small jetty. They also handle car rentals on site. The surrounding area is suburban and neglected, with a lot of litter, so it’s not ideal for a longer holiday unless you’re willing to drive around to see the sights.
