The view from the hotel’s observation decks is stunning, breakfasts are delicious with a huge selection, fresh‑squeezed juices, tasty coffee, and the housekeeping replaces towels daily. Unfortunately, there are several drawbacks I’d like to point out so you don’t repeat my mistakes: 1. The views are amazing, but you need special hiking shoes to descend to the sea; the descent is steep and takes at least 15 minutes even for a prepared climber, so don’t risk it in beach sandals! 2. Once down, you hit a massive “lounge” of people on the public beach; you either have to buy a separate sunbed and umbrella or sit on a sand mat. A lot of ships come into the bay and, in my opinion, the sea isn’t very clean. 3. You can take a transfer down the mountain, but the electric car holds only five people and you’ll have to wait in the heat. 4. You could stay at a nearby hotel; their car holds eight people and you’re only allowed to use a sunbed from 10.30! 5. The hotel’s greed is astonishing: if you ask for plain water at lunch or dinner, they’ll charge you 4.20 € for a bottle!

The room and hotel were very clean, the reception staff were kind and helpful, the bed was large and the room comfortable, and it had all the necessities, toiletries, etc.

The hotel is located in a wonderful spot, with a beautiful garden and a huge pool; you have to descend a staircase to reach the sea, but the hotel provides a buggy, which we didn’t use and had to walk a little. Everything was set for a perfect rest and exploring the area. We paid for half‑board, the breakfast was incredibly generous, and the evening buffet or menu‑choice dinner was delicious and satisfied every desire. The room had a large, comfortable bed. We were on a budget when we found out, and the management treated us kindly with sparkling wine. We’d gladly return anytime!

The rooms are very clean, and the hotel staff are friendly. Breakfast is magnificent, and the water at Konnos Beach is crystal clear. We even saw sea turtles!. Nothing. All is OK
