The lady who runs the place is lovely and very helpful; the house itself is beautiful, and the shared facilities stay impeccably clean. The location isn’t right in the city center, but it’s a short walk to every attraction, and the surrounding neighborhood remains very calm and quiet.

Summary of this review

This guest house is absolutely beautiful and meticulous, and I’d recommend it without hesitation. It’s very stylish, showing a lot of thought in every detail, super clean, and super quiet (I don’t think anyone else was staying there when I was). Though it’s a bit farther from Kanazawa’s center (15‑minute walk), it sits in a really cool part of town near lovely coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. I only met one staff member for check‑in/out, who was lovely and spoke great English. The futon was incredibly comfortable, and I really enjoyed a morning cup of tea on the peaceful balcony in my room. Nothing negative; it was perfect.
