The location was spot on - close enough to Clacton Pier to walk to, but not so close that you hear the crowds.
Huge thanks to the staff, especially Musca, who went out of his way to help.
The view over Clacton's seafront is amazing, and the super king-size bed and massive TV make for a comfortable stay.

“Everything we hoped for, for our first visit to Clacton! Highly recommended”
They went above and beyond, helping with our luggage and even decorating the room for our anniversary.
The view from the room was mind‑blowing, though the washroom felt a bit too small, which was acceptable.
“One of the worst places I’ve ever stayed, despite the room itself being not bad”
The bed was comfortable and there was a nice view from the front window; the staff were polite and friendly enough. The room had a fridge, microwave, and a smart TV, with a nice enough decor, and it was perfectly clean. The adjoining property was literally a burnt‑out shell, the property across the road was empty, behind hoardings, and had smashed windows. In front of the building there were overflowing rubbish bins with food refuse on the floor. There was no toilet roll in the room, the shower was weak and ineffective, and there was no bedside lamp, so you could either have the main light on or nothing. Although the room itself was fine, this is probably one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I’m not easily shocked, but I couldn’t quite believe how bad this place was.
The bath and desk were great, but the view left something to be desired.
The location is absolutely perfect, the staff were friendly and amazing, the room was so comfortable, the decor and furniture lovely, excellent value for money, and I’ll definitely return.
