We went to Castelló because we had been there before and love swimming; the 33 m pool seemed suitable, and the wellness area and staff were great. However, the two triple‑bed rooms we booked were supplied with a replacement bed that made it impossible for a child to sleep there (we paid for a full‑size adult bed). When we arrived at the hotel there was no parking, and because the beach was unlimited only those who were going to swim were allowed in, the pool was unenjoyable. At lunch the buffet ran out of lángos, we waited 40 minutes for fresh batches, and the price/quality ratio was unacceptable.
