The rooms run by Rebecca were spotlessly clean, and the place sits just 2 km from the national park entrance; if you’re ready by 10 AM she’ll line up a taxi to the East Gate and even help with tickets for the Grand Canyon and the park. I really enjoyed my stay.

The host was incredibly accommodating—she would have booked our tickets, though we already had them (we’d have preferred to let her handle it afterward). Every evening and morning we ate at the place, with meals specially prepared for us that were delicious. The rooms were clean and cozy. Getting to the East Gate was free, which was very kind.

The house was spotless and really comfortable, and the hosts greeted us with fresh fruit the moment we walked in. It made a solid base for our trips into the national park, and we felt right at home. The only hitch was that it’s a bit off the main road, so you’ll need a car to get around easily.
