The location is unbeatable – right in the centre! The dorm was spacious and the bed was comfy, and when I asked for a second pillow I was given one with no problem. The kitchen and common area were nice, and there was a small terrace in front. They gave you a padlock for the ‘safe’ in the dorm room. However, the dorm room itself didn’t have a lock, even though the front door was locked at all times, which bothered me since I was the only one there. There was no fan, so it could get quite warm in Guanajuato. One bathroom for six people sharing might feel tight, but I was the only one there. The towels were tiny and didn’t fit around your body.
