Nice location, helpful staff, and the restaurant offers a good selection of food. However, the location and breakfast left something to be desired.

The hotel is fantastic—right beside the train station. The family room came with a double and a single bed, all very comfortable, and the AC is essential in Jaffna. The bathroom features a large shower. In the room you’ll find tea and coffee facilities, daily water bottle refills, and a mini fridge. The staff were excellent, handing us a cool drink and a wet towel upon arrival. The restaurant is superb, with a great breakfast lineup of local dishes cooked in an open kitchen, a solid lunch buffet of rice, curries, sides, and dessert, and an excellent dinner that offers both local and western options—highly recommended. The only drawback was storage; there wasn’t much space beyond a decent-sized closet, and the TV had few channels with poor picture quality, though we didn’t watch TV much so it didn’t bother us.

The staff were very kind, and the breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of specialties—delicious! We enjoyed a beautiful view of Jaffna from our balcony room, which was spacious and had all the necessary amenities. Towels for the pool were provided.
