The rooms and bathrooms were very good and spacious. The property is on the main road but at the end of the premises, parking is available, and the dining rooms are modern and nice. However, at reception they were unwilling to speak English. When we asked about breakfast, they told us there was none, even though the website listed it, and directed us to the neighboring hotel Oscar two houses over. Upon arrival, the two staff members reluctantly brought drinks to the terrace; we had to ask again to get more, and we had to take them ourselves. The ladies preferred to smoke or play on their phones. For the touted pool, they charged 80 Romanian lei (~15 €), yet it was only about 80 cm deep—really a joke. Children were not allowed. The highly praised kitchen turned out to be just a better pizzeria. The burger on the menu was missing, as were some drinks. The next morning at Hotel Oscar, the same unmotivated staff served us, and suddenly they could speak English. Draft beer was also absent, despite being listed. We were the only guests in the hotel, and no one seemed to want to make a sale. The chef vanished without greeting. We had to pay for the rooms at arrival, and at departure everyone wore a disguise; no farewell or anything. Absolutely not recommended.

The staff were friendly and receptive, and the food was tasty. However, I booked a two‑bedroom apartment but was housed in a one‑bedroom apartment with a living room.
