The hotel sits in a fantastic spot, the hosts and staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The rooms are lovely and thoughtfully decorated. We were warmly welcomed and the staff were always looking after us.

“Nice but no communication”

The location is good, with a tiny beach across the street and a short walk to town for restaurants. The rooms were comfortable. We checked in with a cleaner who didn’t speak English – we arrived 20 minutes early, expecting the main staff to arrive later, and never saw anyone again during our 3‑day stay. We simply left the keys at the desk when we left. Finding the parking required reading the code on a sign‑out at the front, which was an abandoned building site about a 10‑minute walk through backstreets. The lack of any communication or a way to ask questions ruined an otherwise nice visit. There was an emergency phone number to call, but a face‑to‑face would have been better.

The location, the hotel, the pool, the breakfast were all good. Our room was dark, tucked into a corner of the building near the parking. It’s a shame to have such ordinary rooms in a beautifully decorated hotel.
