The owner was very nice. The room had a strong unpleasant smell that affected not only me but also my colleagues. The surroundings of the hotel are not great.

“Gastvrij, vriendelijke en aangename werknemers. Nette, ruime kamers op een goede locatie.”

The location was near Istiklal Street but not too close, so there was little noise from outside. Public transport connections let you reach other parts of Istanbul. The staff were very friendly and could answer questions; if you want to do a particular activity, they could arrange it for you. Mahmood, in particular, gave us daily tips for our plans, organized most of our activities such as a Bosphorus boat tour, explained public transport, food options, and more. The doors were difficult to open and close, but luckily someone was at the desk when we needed help.

Peace be upon you. I want to thank the hotel for choosing staff of a high level of assistance for guests. We served Mr. Mahmoud, who is of Yemeni nationality, and yes, the young man. Usually any traveler arriving at the hotel with a taxi does not pay Turkish amounts, and Mahmoud gave the taxi the fare for the trip because the exchange counters were closed; he reimbursed us the next day. If we needed any tourist information, we contacted him and he provided everything. God bless him.
