Nice hotel in a very quiet village, where we were greeted by a very friendly lady who, even though she didn’t speak good English, did her best for us who didn’t speak a word of French; her English was actually pretty good, by the way 😉 Parking was free next to the hotel. Finding a place to eat was a challenge because almost all restaurants were closed or fully booked. We stayed here for one night on our way back to the Netherlands.

After a long bike ride I was able to check in late and leave my bike in the garage; the reception was very friendly and hassle‑free, which is hard to find in such a small place. The room was simple, clean, with a bathroom and shower, and the breakfast on the shaded terrace was a nice, relaxed start to a hot summer day. Thank you very much.

The staff were really friendly, helpful and the bedroom was tidy. The nearby public car park is a problem because it’s often full, making it hard to unload luggage when arriving or leaving.
